Mango Banana Smoothie
Preparation Time: 10 mins Makes 2 big glasses
Ingredients
- 1 cup chilled and roughly chopped mangoes
- 1 cup chilled and roughly chopped bananas
- 2 tbsp wheat germ
- 1/2 cup chilled fresh curds (dahi) mixed with 1/2 cup chilled full-fat milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup ice-cubes
For The Garnish
6 mango cubes , threaded on 2 skewers

Spread the wheat germ in a microwave safe plate and microwave on high for 20 seconds and keep aside.

Combine the curds-milk mixture, mangoes, bananas, wheat germ, sugar and ice-cubes and blend in a juicer till the mixture is smooth and frothy.

Pour equal quantities of the smoothie into 2 individual glasses.

Serve immediately garnished with a mango skewer on the rim of each glass.
X) Muesli Balls recipe
Preparation Time: 5 mins Cooking Time: 5 mins Makes 20 squares
Ingredients
- 1 cup readymade muesli
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp jaggery (gur)
- 2 tbsp wheat germ
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp ghee for greasing
Method

Heat a non-stick pan, add the muesli, brown sugar, jaggery, muesli and honey, mix well and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.
Remove from the flame and allow it to cool slightly. -
Divide the mixture into 20 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
Store it in an air-tight container and use as required.
Xi) Peach Pineapple Smoothie
Preparation Time: 10 mins Makes 2 big glasses
Ingredients
- 1 cup chilled , peeled and roughly chopped peaches
- 1 cup chilled , peeled and roughly chopped pineapple
- 1/2 cup chilled fresh curds (dahi) mixed with 1/2 cup chilled full-fat milk
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp wheat germ
- 1/2 cup ice-cubes
For The Topping
Method

Combine the curds-milk mixture, honey, pineapple, peaches, wheat germ and ice-cubes and blend in a juicer till the mixture is smooth and frothy.

Pour equal quantities of the smoothie into 2 individual glasses.

Serve immediately topped with 2 tbsp of crushed ice and garnished with 2

Peach juliennes in each glass.
